The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) is a public university located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is part of the University of Tennessee System. As with previous responses, please note that my knowledge is current up to September 2021, and some information may have changed since then.
1. History: UTC traces its roots back to the founding of Chattanooga University in 1886. In 1907, Chattanooga University merged with East Tennessee Wesleyan University to form the University of Chattanooga.
